Episode 2 – Trauma with special guest: Nichoel Kimmerle, LMFT and EMDR Certified Therapist
An Interview with Nichoel Kimmerle, LMFT
This is Nichoel. She’s a friend and a colleague. I had a blast talking with her on the podcast. She answered my questions about EMDR therapy – what it is, how it works, and how it helps clients through their traumas.
She talks specifically about her passion for working with first responders, helping them to reprocess their traumas and continue in their careers, free of their burdens.
I write more about our conversation in a previous blog post – check it out here!
The Perks of Being a Wallflower: Discussion on Mental Health and Trauma in Teens
Mark and I challenged each other to find as many teens and young adults to talk with us about Stephen Chbosky’s book The Perks of Being a Wallflower. (Not that we were keeping track, but I found 3 of the 4.) We were overwhelmed by the response and loved talking with people from California, Nebraska, Michigan, and even Iran!
Speakpipe Message from my Dad
In response to Episode One, my dad called in a question about music therapy goals and the measuring of goals. Thanks for listening and for responding, Dad! I respond to his question on Episode Two of the podcast. Please interact with us through speakpipe! We want to hear your questions and responses to the topics that we cover on the podcast. It’s simple - just record us a message!
