Bio

Jill Leonard rocks my socks off. For fifteen years, Jill has been helping students learn about music through performance in band, choir, and the classroom learning.

I specialize in flute and piano lessons. Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have played the piano for over 30 years and the flute for just under 30 years. I studied piano starting in elementary school and all the way through college when I was working on my bachelor's degree in music education. I majored in music education and got a minor in flute performance for my undergraduate studies. After teaching band, choir, and general music for 4 years at Redlands Christian School, I went back to get my master's degree in flute performance from California State University Long Beach, studying with Dr. John Barcellona.

I have taught piano students for over 20 years, and I've taught flute students for nearly 20 years. I love working will all ages and levels of students. I currently teach middle school band and choir part time at Redlands Christian School and teach private piano, flute, and saxophone lessons.

On a personal note, I have been married for over 12 years and have three daughters. My family and faith is the joy of my life.
